To Teddy My Friend

Well, now that we're out and away from all of the bullshit in the Home forums, I just want to say a few things:

It's really unfortunate that douchebags like ProphecyElite have to exist, I know he has been a huge thorn in your ass as well as the rest of us. It's also unfortunate too that the law really isn't on your side on this one, the mods seem to do everything they can to protect him and his conference (I've seen on at least 3 occasions now where mods have deleted all of the posts that would put his authority into question), so all of the people who would otherwise know the truth gleefully carry along without knowing that the whole premise for his conference is based on the stealing the idea of yours... and unfortunately there are also those that know the truth and yet still carry on being a part of his conference.

Here's the real question that I have to ask, can his conference survive without him? I think it's great that a meeting for N1s as it's tentatively called can meet without your presence, it really shows how deep our bench is, and I think it goes a long way to showing that the group is not out for petty glory-whoring. I pretty well sized up Proph when I told him about the IRC channel idea and he said (to paraphrase) "oh that's great chief why don't you put that as an entity under MY meeting." Sure guy... not in this lifetime...

lol sounds like you summed it up pretty well. he is definatley a massive thorn. But at least a lot of us did all we could to take him down. The PS forums are just going down hill. and i believe if he couldnt make a meeting he would cancel it since he is the OWNER. what a glory idiot. But this is why we will be better.

Thank you, and yes I'll also say (but I was cut short earlier by way of being forced to put back together a hamster cage (...thank you love of my life, sigh...)), that the good works of people shine through the enormous amounts of mass bullshit.

Well tragically I'm just coming in from dinner from my g/f's birthday and it's about 10:35 now so I missed the meeting but I'm interested to hear how it went.

I'm willing to bet that only Teddy will recognize me here. That is because I've kept out of the Home forums for about the last year because of all of the bullshit you guys are describing.

I was however an avid user of the Home forum when I first got my PS3. Back then (2yrs ago) it was a fun place to hang out and shoot the shit. Not anymore.

Hence the reason I am here. I'm still interested in the home app but not interested in shifting through the huge pile of senseless posts for the info that I'm looking for.

You probably won't see too many posts from me here. I'll most likely be a lurker here to get info on things that are coming new to home.

And that review of Killzone 2 you made for our community was awesome. Very well written and definitely worth a read guys, whether you are fans or not.

Thorn? I mean, yes he is a pain, but it really isn't personal.

Through the course I've had my critics and foes. That is fine with me because I don't really care. I write what I write and that is that.

With pelite, he has really drew my ire for the simple fact that he flat out lied. I never intended to attack him personally, but I attacked the lie. But that lie, leads me back to the person. And trust me, I resist to attack the guy. I refuse to. It doesn't help anyone. I just exposed a truth, and wanted people to know about it. His intentions are not as transparent as they seem. If he had the audacity to lie and use words he doesn't know the meaning of, I don't know what he resorts to then.

One example of what he resorts to--just look at his thread from the last couple pages. Very coincidental that all those "I'm blah blah blah and I do blah blah blah" posts come right after all of our posts questioning his intentions. Funny right?

And at the same time, I cannot blame the mods on that site. Although we are exposing a truth, it will lead to flaming. I know you guys are capable of keeping it clean and legit, but you know how pelite handles criticism. He would twist it to the flaming side. Were any of us outright flaming him as a person (other than the Brittney reference you made Bit which was totally hilarious)? I really have to say no. I mean of course it certainly sounds like it, but in the end it goes back to one thing--principle.

And when a person with a compromised integrity is at the helm of such an organization, it bothers me. I'm not saying that only a saint should be there, but I am saying that he definitely isn't suited for such a position.

And on another note, did anyone else notice that he has a "Jmuuus" aka Jason on his team now? Props to anyone that can identify this person and his relevance on that home board. Lets just say that he is quite infamous.

Remember all that scamming that was going on related to home? Well... guess what? "jay" is the one behind a good majority of it.

And look at where he has ended up... working with pelite. Hope that moron knows that. Just goes to show you that pelite has NOT been around the board long enough, definitely NOT as long as he claims.

The Brittney Spears ref, while funny, is actually true. There are quite a few people in the world who want attention even if it is negative attention. Why? I don't know. I see this being true with Proph. Instead of manning up that he stole the idea, he's tried to justify himself by saying "well it was your idea but I beat you to the punch" which OBVIOUSLY does not fly with anyone who has any sort of ethics whatsoever. I don't know any business who does this practice and actually prides themselves on stealing other peoples' ideas, because it's just not the way you win friends and influence people. I've known a few other trolls like this in my day unfortunately, and they all have a tendency to try and fuck up communities by splitting good people apart.

There was one very good Thread I posted that laid out questions about his Conference. I think you guys might remember it. Anyways, I could see how it "led to flaming", but I wasn't exactly calling the guy out to throw down with me. I simply stated that if he wishes to address any of my questions, he may do so in the thread. Well the mods saw it differently (what a surprise), and I was warned by shungoku. Funny thing is, the thread did last a few hours before it was deleted, and Proph never responded. Guess I have my answers
