I've viewed this movie on 2 separate set ups.

My first one is the one in my bedroom, simply a 32 inch Sharp Aquos LC32D40U model.

The second one was on a 40 inch Bravia 1080P with 7.1 surround sound home theatre.

I am not a huge Pixar fan, but have seen most of their movies. Out of all the ones viewed, this is my favorite.

First off, the picture is astounding. On each TV I watched it on, the picture is very vivid and just jumps out at you. The colors are rich and vibrant. Seeing that Pixar is such an animation powerhouse, I am especially harsh on them on Blu. But this one does not disappoint. There are no rough edges, the picture is clean, and the sound is superb.

    Short synopsis:
Rat named Remy. Remy has talented cooking instincts. Rat helps boy by using boy as outlet for cooking. The End.

**Well... I"m not going to ruin the movie for you!**

    There. Short and sweet.

    Bottom Line:
A heartwarming tale that isn't just for kids. Excellent picture quality. Excellent sound quality. Great special features which includes a mini game. A great demo piece for showcasing Blu.

The only knock on this is no BD Live feature... which I'm still waiting for to kick into high gear.

Pixar has put Cars, this movie, and most recently Wall E. I've seen them all. This one delivers the goods.

    Next Up: Sleeping Beauty

Yes, I'm a Disney fan. But not part of the cult.

I agree. I've watched the movie on 2 separate set ups, but have watched the movie at least 4 times now. There is something very alluring about this movie.

The characters are warm and memorable. The plot is entertaining.

This was the first Blu-Ray movie I bought because my fiancé demanded it. She loves cute. I turned it on while she was cooking and I didn't get up. I agree with both of you that this is a great film.

She "made" me go to the theater opening weekend to watch it.

From that point on, I was waiting for the Blu release. I picked it up when it came out. Just haven't gotten around to really doing a write up for this movie.

Great first choice for a movie on Blu!

Speaking of which... you just gave me an idea. Thank you.
